1. General Information
These Terms & Conditions govern all tattoo appointments and related services provided by Inked Valour (“the Studio”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking a tattoo session or making a deposit, you (“the Client”) agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
2. Age Requirement
Clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive a tattoo. Valid photo identification (passport, driver’s licence, or other government-issued ID) must be presented on the day of your appointment.
We reserve the right to refuse service if valid ID is not provided or if we suspect the client is underage.
3. Deposits and Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be deducted from the final price of your tattoo. Deposits are taken to reserve your artist’s time, preparation, and design work. If a new deposit is required for any reason (such as a late cancellation, reschedules, or a major design change), the previous deposit will no longer count toward the tattoo and will be forfeited.
4. Design work and custom artwork will only commence once the tattoo deposit has been paid and the appointment has been booked.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice results in loss of deposit. Last-minute bookings within 48 hours of appointment date/time are paid in full, non-refundable. You can reschedule only once if you give more than 48 hour notice from your initial appointment time and your deposit will automatically be carried forward to your new appointment time. If the Artist must cancel or reschedule, your deposit will be transferred to a new date or refunded in full.
6. Last-Minute Booking Policy
Last-minute bookings followed by last-minute cancellations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. This applies to all deposits and payments made at the time of booking. For further information, please use the contact form and submit your message. We will respond within 24 hours.
7. No-Show Policy & Tap-Out
Failure to attend your scheduled appointment without notice will result in a loss of your deposit and may affect your ability to book future sessions. If you tap out (choose to stop the tattoo session early, for any reason), you will still be required to pay the full agreed amount for that session or tattoo. This policy applies to all tattoo sizes and sessions, including hourly or flat-rate bookings.
Clients arriving more than 30 minutes late may have their appointment cancelled and deposit forfeited.
8. Health and Safety
Please inform your artist of any medical conditions, allergies, or skin sensitivities prior to your appointment. The Studio maintains a sterile environment and follows strict hygiene standards in compliance with UK health and safety regulations. We reserve the right to refuse service if you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
9. Holiday and Travel Consideration
Clients who are due to travel or go on holiday within the next 14 days are not eligible to receive a tattoo. This policy is in place to ensure proper healing and to minimise the risk of infection or complications during travel.
10. Artwork and Design
All designs are the intellectual property of the artist and may not be copied, reproduced, or used elsewhere without written permission. Minor adjustments can be made during your appointment, but major design changes may require a new booking and deposit, and the original deposit will not be transferred.
11. Aftercare
You will be provided with aftercare instructions following your tattoo. Once you leave the Studio, it is your responsibility to follow these guidelines to ensure proper healing.
12. Liability
While every care is taken, the Studio and its artists cannot be held responsible for any adverse reactions, complications, or healing issues arising from your tattoo. Tattoos are permanent; by proceeding, you acknowledge full understanding and acceptance of this.
13. Gift Vouchers, Sales and Promotions
Gift vouchers are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase and cannot be extended once expired. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced. Vouchers are valid only for tattoo services (unless otherwise stated) and must be presented at the appointment. Sales and promotions (including discounts, offers, and giveaways) are time-limited and subject to availability. Promotional offers cannot be combined with any other discount, voucher, or ongoing promotion. The Artist reserves the right to amend or withdraw any sale or promotion at any time without prior notice.Any booking made using a voucher or promotional offer is still subject to these Terms, including deposit, rescheduling, and cancellation policies.
14. Touch-Ups
A free or discounted touch-up may be offered at the artist's discretion within 3 months. Touch-ups requested due to negligence or ignoring aftercare will incur a fee.
15. Agreement
By booking an appointment, paying a deposit, or attending a tattoo session with Inked Valour, you confirm that: You are 18 years of age or older. You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
You understand that deposits are non-refundable, and that new deposits replace previous ones. You understand that if you tap out, you are liable for the full session payment. You consent to being tattooed under these terms.
